Fucker, I was just editing it!Ermmmm …..
Liverpool have a lot going for them when it comes to winning the race for Rabiot.
They have a team built for success, reaching the Champions League final last season, and already boast several high profile names and a universally popular and charismatic manager.
Also in their favour is Liverpool signing Fabinho earlier this summer, with the Reds paying £43.7 million to Monaco. Rabiot is on record pleading with Paris Saint-Germain to sign Fabinho a year earlier. He is quoted by But Football Club stating, when asked about Fabinho: "It is important, in my opinion, to recruit a player who can succeed Thiago Motta. For this season, since Thiago, who turned 35, will not be able to play sixty matches this year. But also for the future."
PSG did not manage to sign Fabinho from Monaco, striking a deal to sign Kylian Mbappe with them instead. It worked in Liverpool's favour, and if he signs for the Reds next summer then he will have his chance to play alongside the Brazilian.
That's more like it

^^^^^^^^^I am honoured and emotional. Not since Oncy listed me on his third reserve after thought list of "other posters" have I been so recognised on this forum. I may just retire at the top
Jeez, this guy looks like a proper Rolls Royce of a player.
You think he plays like Gini? I like Gini, but he looks to have more about him than that.Whitenaldum

His corners alone are worth 10 million.Jeez, this guy looks like a proper Rolls Royce of a player.
Do you know, in answering your last post I was going to suggest you bring Charlie Adam into it, like the walloper you are? You're not only a fuckwit, you're drearily predictable in your fuckwittery. His corners alone are worth 10 million.
I'm not sure who or what we're supposed to be impressed with from that

Those clips posted by myself and @doctor_mac were just two regular recent games, they are not supposed to be career highlight "look at how great this guy is" type of performances. For me, there is plenty to like; I've also seen some games where I wanted to strangle him. But overall, for his age group (23 and under) you would be hard-pressed to find a more talented and versatile midfielder in Europe.
Hmmm, maybe. Although you did once describe Aquilani as "an equal if not greater talent" than Xabi Alonso.
Hmm, that has fuck all to do with anything, but still, impressive memory.
People always remember the howlers. Not the sharp calls. Not the clever analysis. Not the prophetic words on emerging talent. C'est la vie.
I don't see a future for Lallana and Grujic. Expect them to leave next summer. I also don't think we should offer Milner anything more than a 1 year deal.I was under the impression that we bought Keita to play forward (I know he can play different roles) and we're quite well stocked in midfield now.
There will be some pretty intense competition for his signature you'd think. Putting aside money and ability to compete for trophies, would we be able to offer the playing guarantees he clearly wants?
One piece of context to consider about Rabiot is that he currently plays in a team full of attacking players who don't defend. He obviously wants to be the one running the creative side of things – but at PSG it's often up to him to plug in holes in defense left by the conspicuous absence of work-rate from the likes of Neymar. This season under the new manager Tomas Tuchel he's been paired with Marqinhos playing as a DM, which freed him up a bit more, but I'm not sure that's such a great solution in the long-term.
It's interesting to compare him with Milinkovic-Savic at Lazio, who has many similar qualities, but unlike the Frenchman enjoys playing for a team willing to let him be the main creator and freeing him up from too much defensive responsibility (however that comes at a price of not having the likes of Neymar and Mbappe to pass the ball to!). If Rabiot comes here, I think Klopp would be able to offer him the ideal balance – a team that presses well as a unit, but still has elite attackers. And with Rabiot being naturally left-footed, that can help our midfield balance as well.
Echo saying we arent interested. Not that it means much mind.
