they are also playing pretty well this season and will in all likelihood finish in the top four, they definitely wont sell at christmas and they will ask for big money as always.

rafa didn't scout doseena and if you believe what has been said the club bought keane not rafa. so whats your problem here?
 
Rafa isn't a scout, so he generally doesn't scout people. Eduardo Macia was the one that recommended Dossena, but I'd love to read about any evidence you have that Rafa didn't bother providing any oversight on that.

and keane, did rafa provide an oversight for that or did the club buy him?

ffs all i'm saying here is that i'd rather trust rafa's judgment than whichever idiot brought in doseena. there is no way rafa would have bought him if he'd seen him play. and 16 million pounds would probably be our next biggest signing so i'd like it not to be wasted.

i don't care if rafa is or isn't a scout, i want him to see players play before he buys them, particularly those that we will spend a lot of money on.

It's bizarre, because you have previously argued that Rafa doesn't have an eye for transfers, but now you are arguing that you want him to be involved in the entire process, because there's no way he'd fail.

It probably wasn't an attacking player anyway BM, Rafa doesn't like players who are too attacking. It might mean we score even more goals than we already do.

rafa met with quaremsa and decided against it.

listen dickhead. u might fancy yourself as an internet hardman but i hear that your mrs has to get it off the dog 'cos u can't deliver the goods at home, so less of the unproviked insults, especially when i was responding to someone else - it's not hard throwing insults around for no reason is it?.

bunnyman, i'm sure i'm not imaging an interview with rafa who talked about the club buying keane and not him i'm sure there's a thread on here about it.

rafa has at times met with players he's been interested in and for a range of decisions decided against it. for a club with our limited finances we cannot afford to continue to make dud buys, if this means rafa being more active to make sure the players have the right mentality etc then i am all for it.
