Liverpool FC vs Felda United - Training Match

Apparently we had a training match today against Felda United

Pre-game YNWA

• 0' - #LFC team v Felda: Fulton, Wisdom, Toure, Sakho, Maguire, Ojo, Rossiter, Chirivella, Markovic, Teixeira and Ings.
• 4' - Goal! Chirivella with a fine finish from Maguire's cross. 1-0
• 22' - Thunder rumbling. Going to absolutely belt it down shortly. Markovic makes it 2-0 with a classy lob over the keeper!
• 27' - Ojo tucks away the third. Long way back for Felda who have been bang average. 3-0.
• HT - Seemingly a short game, the score is 3-0 at half time.

Timings are obscured due to a weird half time stoppage.

• 4-0. Ings escaped from Shukor and unleashed a powerful shot past the keeper.
• And it's 5-0. Felda are being torn apart. Ings with a sweet finish into corner for his second. 5-0 to LFC.
• Wilson then should have made it six but fluffed his kick.
• An absolute worldie from Teixeira makes it 6-0. 40 yarder sailed over the stranded keeper.
• And with the last kick of the game Ings makes it 7 to complete his hat-trick. The Felda boys took one hell of a beating.

Interesting that Sakho is playing with what is essentially the reserve team. Presumably Lovren starts tomorrow

Sounds like it was more a kick about in the park than a game. That said, Romario would probably include games like this in his stats.

Yeh, having seen the video it looks like it is, I assumed this was a behind closed doors friendly.
