Gomez been brilliant as well. Kudos after getting some stick earlier.
Agree, I feel Gomez ushered off VAR-dy very well today. Nothing get past him and he mop everything that came his way off and able to pick out passes to our players with his clearance. His confidence is back and I am ecstatic.

Rodgers tactic is quite simple. If it doesn't break don't change it. If it broke, change. It broke when they lost a match and he changed his midfield personnel and that's what you get, lost control. Then you have him relying heavily on his striker to find the net. If you stop his striker who is in hot streak, he's fucked. VAR-dy scored 17 and their second top scorer has 5. Before the match, I said to beat them all you have to do is stop Vardy. But I didn't expect them to just roll over and die.

Removing Salah is a stroke of genius from Klopp. Both Soyuncu and Chilwell didn't know who to mark. Strict instructions from Rodgers to mark Salah, and Mane is a completely different type of player.

Well, that was pure dominance

As good as we've been all season , they couldn't get out of their own half for most of the match and we really should have scored 6/7

Phenomenal

I fucking love Bobby.

Best performance of the season so far. Sends a signal out to the rest of the league,

like we really needed to.

What a game. Worth staying up at 4am. Frustrating first half. Could have been 3 or 4 up. But what beautiful football. We were dominant. Except for maybe 10 minutes after the hour mark. Happy Christmas and joyous festive season! YNWA

A battle between 1st and 2nd turned into a BOXING DAY MASSACRE! Rodgers had no plan to stop us, Vardy was isolated up front and our pacy and switched-on defensive quartet snuffed out their every attempt to break in behind. They had no out-ball and couldn't pass their way out from our hight press; so it just settled into an MMA-style pounding. They tried to clog up the middle with Ndidi tackling well when the ball was in his vicinity – but for the most part we bypassed him easily using the long switches of the ball to the flanks, which took advantage of Trent's playmaking ability and overall scintillating form. Other than some wayward finishing, we were sharp and dominant in every facet of the game and fully deserved a 4:0 victory. It's strange to win by this margin without any goals from Mane or Salah, but all good – hopefully they'll be hungrier for the next game.

Really some bitter fans on the net, I have read at least 10 posts in different forums claiming that we're using performance enhancing drugs. They are being serious....

Well, that's what I'd think if I was a bitter cunt. We are fitter than anyone.
