Joe Cole for the left wingeraroo.

I always thought he was a bit of a knob but a great player, but having seen him on sky a few times he comes across well. Not sure how bad his injury problems will affect him. Knowing our luck, if he did turn out to the bizarre signing he'd end up doing a Harry Kewell.

I'm just going to suggest English players because I feel like it.

Bradleme said Joe Cole. Would be perfect for our left flank. Can also fill in for Gerrard behind Torres.

If we have to spend 18m on Barry then we should forget about him and sign Mark Noble. Box to box midfielder who will bring his game to the next level playing for a bigger club. There are other players from West Ham we would do well to scout, like Tomkins, Sears et al.

Agbonlahor. Might not do well over the full season but as backup to Torres he could be an option. Would be ridiculously priced though.

I've always liked Shorey. Granted I know alot of posters here do not rate him but he is pretty decent and can take a good free kick. I would rather have Shorey and Insua rather than Aurelio and Insua. (I'm assuming Dossena is sold.)

Would of liked diego but he's gone to juve now, would of liked santi cazorla but he broke his leg, joe cole isn't a bad shout i suppose

My post was more a reflection on how bad Boro were rather than a reflection on Tuncay. Every time I've seen him he's looked good, but would he make the step up that's involved in getting into our team ?
