I think it's one to just be written off. Hopefully the debts will practically be paid over the next year and we can move on from there.

Incidentally whadda... this season was also an opportunity missed.... we still may have enough though, Chelsea look good at the minute but will struggle with a new system at some point and they will definitely miss the africans at chrimbo. United are defo weaker, Arsenal are still not the finished article..... we have an awful lot riding on this aquilani kid tho it has to be said.

I wouldn't bank on there being no debt once this loan is paid off. Keep in mind that these loans don't relate to a new stadium which would generate additional revenue in the future but are in fact loans relating to their buy-out.
The profits generated by the club are paying for their purchase of the club. If and when we do build a new stadium you can add another half billion in debts which will take another 10-15 years to pay off if not longer
Lastly, Hicks has said on more than one occasion in the US that 'the LFC franchise can help to pay for the Texas Rangers' !!
