Shows what we all know. 95% of the site was outraged at the thought of him signing for us.

He's done a good job of turning that around.
 
i quite like that he puts his foot through it from time to time , no messing about .
 
Glad I was among the 5% who thought it was a good signing.

Looks like an upgrade on Carra.
 
and he was well pumped when the final whistle went . i think we've maybe underestimated how much he appreciates this move . From that interview / chat with keown it sounds like he really feels he has something to prove here .

It's one game he's played.
Carra played 508 times for the club and was superb for the most of it.
I found it a needless dig at Carra.

Ask yourself, do you think I'm comparing him to the 2005 or the 2013 version?

Someone needs to let it go and it's not me. I haven't said a bad word about Carra since he retired.
 
People say that Touré is a like for like replacement for Carra, I'm saying maybe not, maybe he's better.
If you don't like it, well then, you can fuck off.
 
No Modo, you hate our LEGEND who helped us just as much as Coutinho and Sturridge second half of last season.
An upgrade? You couldn't wait to say that.
 
I don't often agree with what Modo has to say but he hasn't said much wrong here I think. Toure has replaced Carra in our lineup and based on one game looks the better player. It's only natural to compare the two as it indicates if we have improved on that area.
 
Toure is a leader. We still looked nervous at times in defense but Kolo was a big source of calmness and confidence throughout the game. He is a big reason why we kept a clean sheet.
