Klopp will be at Anfield for the Villa game.

There's a campaign on twitter too that the fans dress up like Klopp.
Get glasses and all.
That's almost as embarrassing as the time we were celebrating winning the league with 4 games to go.

Does this happen often? It's like something Tim Sherwood would do?

I can't see Klopp sitting in the crowd until the position is vacant unless they are trying to dress it up as a coincidence? Surely, no one will buy that?

If he is there, then I doubt he's joining us. I can't see FSG or any half decent owners embarrassing their current manager by parading his replacement in the stands in front of him.

It'd be a right cunt if you already looked like him.

Yep, plus what would Klopp get out of it bar ridiculous media attention linking him to us. I don't see the point unless he's a guest of someone and it's a total coincidence but why bother? He's also been to Anfield before for a pre season friendly and I doubt the Villa match is overly enticing.

I declare bullshit.

I Guess it is only the glasses that can do the trick if you already shaved this week?

This is shitty, if true. Inviting a prospective manager to a game when the current guy still has a long term contract is a cunty move

Even if he does turn up, I seriously doubt the owners invited him. That would leave them open to a claim by Rodgers for constructive dismissal, like the one Dr.Eva is considering against the Chavs. My guess is this has been cooked up by Klopp and/or his agent, especially if they've got wind of the rumours surrounding Ancelotti.

Maybe we're gonna do the whole dual manager thing again, after it worked so well the last time.

Sky running this breaking news "Klopp is willing to cut short his sabbatical for the right job in premier league"

Hardly news TBH. Despite the fact that the main story last summer was him wanting to take a sabbatical until the New Year, it was being said even then that he'd consider an earlier return to management for "the right job", in other words the LFC one. He's gagging for it. (And the Liverpool job.)

I want Ancelotti. We all do.

But it's gonna be Klopp I'm afraid.

Klopp would be an acceptable second choice for me, albeit definitely second choice behind Ancelotti. I've always thought FSG would be more likely to appoint him though, given their preference - a mistaken one IMO, but there it is - for a younger manager.

We're in that unenviable "anyone but the current manager" stage. Which usually leads to us appointing a worse manager.

Either of those two should give a big lift, but I hope there is a long term vision in this. And I'd be quite happy if that vision was to get a proper DOF and to change managers a little more ruthlessly.

Who knows what the fuck their preference is going to be next time around though. They favoured a DoF and jettisoned that pretty quick.

Si Hughes wrote last weekend that FSG had been warned against hiring Klopp.
He also said Rodgers had two games to save his job, Norwich and Villa.

They didn't fully jettison it though - they tried to hang on to a form of it in the shape of the transfer committee, so hopefully if they do appoint Klopp they'll bring a DOF in too.
