From the Guardian's MBM commentary of the match:
Post-match analysis: "That was a triumph for Mourinho's style of management," writes Henry Shawdon. "I cant wait to get that quality of shirt-pulling, injury-feigning, time-wasting and transcendental negativity back in the Premiership."
[/quote]Thats some utter biased sensational bullshit right there. At home Inter were magic on the break, and away they were faced by one of the most biased refs I'd ever seen. They committed 15 fouls and got 5 yellow cards and a red, mostly because the Barcelona players dived, playacted and basically cheated at every single opportunity. Inter had a player sent off for next to nothing and then had to resort to sitting deep and soaking up pressure from the best team in the world.
I wonder how come you of all people, one of the most tactically obsessed people I know aren't in awe of a really impressive reargaurd action.
I wanted Barcelona to win but I'm in no doubt that Inter deserved it over the two legs, last night they played 10 against 14 (the officials were unbelievably biased) and by the end I was glad they won.
Glad he won.
That article is bollocks.

Heh mate, I thought it was funny is all.
As for Inter's tactics; well you're preaching to the converted here mate. They were outstanding, and I banged on at length about their defensive solidity after the game at Stamford Bridge. I couldn't have been more impressed.
Unfortunately for Mourinho (not that I care), a lot of his tatcical ingenuity over these two legs will be lost under a maelstrom of "parked the bus and held on" comments, when it was anything but.
They were superb, and he rightly deserves the adulation.
Not that he needs any of course.
