The Fenway Park 100 year centenary celebration was the day before in the us so doubt they'd have made it with the time difference.

No, but Werner's supposed to be our chairman as well. If he can't be arsed to be here unless he's sacking people I'd rather they appoint someone who'll actually be around. Their PR machine seems to have conked out.

Kenny replacing Comolli was my first thought but its gonna be hard to replace him if we win the FA Cup too.

He and Cruyff himself have both said there's been no contact. This isn't necessarily to say Cruyff would refuse an approach if one were made.
