Sounded as such since you dont rate Henderson.
Appolz if I misunderstood mate. 🙂

I haven't seen enough of him to know if I rate him or not. I was just saying (before) that he's obviously overpriced.
My comment that you replied to was just referring to your tendency, lately, to say that every player we're seriously linked with is brilliant. Maybe I'm being unfair - I always thought you were a good poster before. You're just coming across (to me) as a bit of a The New Regime Can Do No Wrong-er.

Ah, I completly got the wrong end of the stick there mate. I dont think I've been overly positive about the new regime, but I have yet to see something or hear something which I dont like. I dont agree with all the players we're linked with, and have my reservations about the Downings and the Adams. But overall I think building the squad is equally if not even more important as all these marqee signings we talk about.
If the Downings and Adams can contribute to winning the league then fine.
The jury is still out on Comolli, and the fees for both Carroll and now possibly Henderson is way overpriced. But sadly thats the market for English talent and it looks like Kenny and FSG want a strong English spine in the squad.
Jones, Henderson, Wickham and Mata are excellent additions. Enrique, Dann and Downing are good squad/first team players. All improvement on what we got in our squad today. The rest I cant remember commenting on tbh, so I cant have been to positive regarding them.
Last years summer and our failings in the transfer market the last couple of seasons make me want us to go after these type of players that Utd have been signing for some time. We all know that Henderson will be a fucking huge hit if he goes to Utd.
There is an air of positvity regarding Liverpool and the future for me, and that maybe effects my belief these days. Its just that things has drastically changed since the end of last season. And it just feels good that things finally look like they're on track towards challenging for the title again.
We have a massive job this summer to get things right regarding players in and out, but the signs are positive. We could of course end up with all the wrong choices, which will lead to some serious questions regarding FSG and Comolli. Time will tell, but for now I think they're doing a cracking good job tbh.
