I'm planning on moving out with my girlfriend in the next few months and would like to set up a bank account which we can both pay into for bills and rent and food etc. I originally thought we'd just get a joint bank account however that seems to be rather complicated and links credit histories or something like that, so I think i'll steer clear of that idea. The next idea was if I got a bank account in my name a see if I could get two named cards, one for each of us. Is this possible? If so does anyone know of any banks which do this or offer good deals at the moment, or just any other advice on the situation.
