'Liverpool ready to pay for Jese Rodriguez'

Las Palmas president Miguel Angel Ramirez believes Liverpool, Milan and Roma are all 'ready to pay' to sign Jese Rodriguez from PSG.
The Spanish forward is a native of Las Palmas, and Ramirez would love him at his hometown club, but feels that the La Liga side will be priced out of the market for the 23-year-old.
Jese moved to Paris in August for €25 million, but has only made nine appearance for Unai Emery's side, with PSG's chairman hinting that a January exit could be on the cards.
Ramirez has set his sights on bringing Jese back to Las Palmas, but despite his admiration, believes a move to Liverpool or Italy seems most likely.
"Jese Rodriguez is a great footballer," Ramirez told Las Provincia.
"Liverpool, Milan and Roma want Jese and are ready to pay what he earns. We cannot afford that salary.
"With respect to other clubs, we are at a disadvantage and hence we have to wait. But we don't want to create false expectations."
Jese played 38 times for Real Madrid last season, scoring six goals in all competitions as he helped Zinedine Zidane's side to the Champions League trophy.
However, he has scored only once since moving to PSG and looks likely to leave the club in January.

Asked by Le Parisien about Jese's future during an in-depth interview, Chairman and CEO Nasser Al-Khelaifi suggested he, Emery and director of football Patrick Kluivert are unconvinced by the No. 22 despite "not thinking only about the club" when considering potential transfers.

"Emery told me something very true that has also always been part of my thinking," the Qatari added. "He said 'when a mistake is made, it is better to try to fix it than to try to live with it.' So, if we have made mistakes, we will try to correct them. The door is not closed."

Thats not all that promising for him.

At 23 all he seems to have going for him is potential. A succession of managers have overlooked him at Real and now PSG.

Is he a striker or a floaty AM/ winger type ?

He is not wanted at PSG as both chairman and manager agree he was a mistake (could be all bull as it was from Wiki). Les Palmas want him but can't afford him. He will most likely go out on loan, and Klopp might see him as good short term fix bit if he turns out to be good he would I guess have the option to buy.

I thought he looked great as a youth breaking through at madrid, pace and control. I seem to remember he had a bad injury maybe a cruciate or a leg break and it just stopped there.
Hes Mark Gonzales. Never gonna fullfil the hype
