I agree with Hansern, maybe it's a different understanding of the term 'statement of intent', a silly statement of intent signing: I agree, I don't see them doing it and nor do I want them too, that's like City's Robinho or B'burn's Ronaldinho, they weren't good footballing signings, they were for headlines. Suarez wouldn't be that, he's a good player, that is exactly what we need.
I've really wanted us to sign him since the WC, and am trying really hard to not get my hopes up too much about it happening now, but I'm so excited at the prospect of signing him.
