Besiktas has officially unveiled Portugal internationals Simao Sabrosa, Hugo Almeida and Manuel Fernandes.

The three signings were presented Monday, joining fellow Portuguese Ricardo Quaresma and Spanish former Real Madrid captain Guti in Istanbul.

B'Burn have made a bid for Ronaldinho. I bet he can't wait to play next to the likes of Jason Roberts.

"@empireofthekop: RT @Arun_Chowdhury: Elijero Elia and Wolfswinkel has agreed to join Liverpool according to a very very close source to Damien Comoli"

[/quote]

Well well... Van Wolfswinkel has been hijacked by Napoli apparently... so done deal? NOT!!!

The Van Wolfswinkel to Napoli story is apperantly BS.

Doubt he'll join us regardless.

What ambition are Blackburn showing? Their ambition to be the laughing stock of the premiership?

"Samba punts it up to ronaldinho. But he doesn't try to win the header and now [INSERT OPPOSITION HERE] are on the counter attack!"

Blackburn have made a move for AC Milan playmaker Ronaldinho by offering a deal worth about £20m over three years.

Venky's, the company that bought Rovers in November, says their Brazil office is in talks with Ronaldinho's manager.
"He is keen to play in the EPL [English Premier League] and I think that goes in our favour," Venky's chair Anuradha Desai told BBC Radio Lancashire.
Desai also admitted that Rovers had made attempts to sign David Beckham on loan from Los Angeles Galaxy.
She added the club were "open whenever he is ready to come".

I wouldn't mind ronnie......not for that money like

He'll probably end up in America, or Greece or somewhere else.

Routledge has played for some silly amount of clubs at this stage (some on loan obviously).

Just off the top of my head....

Palace
Villa
Spurs
QPR
Newcastle

Probably a good few more.

PASS.

Liverpool have made an enquiry to Manchester City for Emmanuel Adebayor, skysports.com understands.

The Togolese star is one of a number of City players who have been linked with a move this January.

The former Arsenal striker is far from being first choice under Roberto Mancini and the imminent arrival of Edin Dzeko will push him further down the pecking order.

Now a host of clubs are making contact with City to register their interest in taking the 26-year-old

And skysports.com understands that Liverpool are the latest club to express an interest.

However, they are not the only club looking at Adebayor, with Tottenham, West Ham and even Real Madrid linked with a move.

Liverpool would currently only be in the market to take Adebayor on loan given his wages and possible fee, with City unlikely to accept a cut-price deal for a player they paid over £25million for just 18 months ago.

But should City allow him to move on loan, then the Anfield club would hope to be in pole position to land him.

He's is a prick, no doubt, but we're so poor at the moment that I'd take him on loan just for the rest of the season if we can't buy someone decent. However much we may dislike him he's a proven premiership goalscorer and a few extra goals in tight games between now and May could make the difference between qualifying for the Europa League or not.

He's actually a good manager for a team like that, but there's got to be a question about whether he could do the needful at the top level.

Remind you of anybody?

Sky Sports News understands Edin Dzeko has completed his medical with Manchester City.

The Bosnia international striker is expected to complete his move to the Premier League big-spenders in the next few days.

City boss Roberto Mancini confirmed on Tuesday that a fee had been agreed with Wolfsburg, believed to be in the region of £27million, for Dzeko's services.

The 24-year-old travelled to England on Wednesday from Spain where he had been taking part in a winter training camp with Steve McClaren's side.

Target

There had been some suggestions that Dzeko would be at Emirates Stadium to watch his prospective new club in action against Arsenal.
But the talented forward, who has been targeted by a host of Europe's leading sides, will not be in North London for the crucial Premier League clash.

City will hope to have secured their major January target ahead of Saturday's FA Cup third round clash with Leicester City.
Dzeko's expected arrival is sure to increase speculation over some of Mancini's fringe striking options, with both Emmanuel Adebayor and Roque Santa Cruz expected to be on the move this month.
