"It's complicated"? -- No it isn't, fuck off Barca - £113 Million bid rejected

He doesn't have to play for us if we don't want to sell him. Just make him train and play with the ressies and Sakho.

No chance. Dembele is worth as much as Coutinho

Yeah. The are typical 40 M Euro players. One shithead unstable Brasilia well known for his free kicks, when the truth is that he scored 3 more direct free kicks than Trent AA over the last years. The other a 20 year old one trick pony which best can be described as a Ryan Babel copy.

Yeah that's my opinion as well. Apparently he's willing to sacrifice his world cup for the Barca move HAHAHA!!!!!
I saw the article but I didn't read it cause I thought it sounded preposterous. I mean Coutinho isn't that stupid. If true, which it isn't, what an empty threat.

I won't be surprised though if he chooses to take the risk at the expense of missing out on the WC. Club career over the next ~5+ years (possibly once in a lifetime chance) vs. a 1 month campaign.

Best best bet is to cash in now. Klopp demands his players bust their balls. Even if Phil stays, his heart isn't in it.

What we need to do with the cash is sign players us as a stepping stone to a regular champions league semi finalist. Hopefully with Klopp we can become one of these teams, but we aren't there yet.

He's only just started to get traction in the Brazil team so he's a dickhead if he wants to jeopardise his place in the team just to move to Barca

But what risk is he taking? His agent (is this Kia guy) has obviously fucked up the mind of John W. Trump. And while not as active on twitter as his fellow "high on himself" American Donald Henry, John will not be pushed around, and especially not by people he have treated well. So the sits for Phillipe is clear, he will honour the still inkwet contract, slavery terms or not, until John W. Trump screams out "You're Fired".

So even if Barca has threathend Coutinho that they will find someone else (and they are looking death pathetic in their quest) it is all about the money Kia is about to receive. His plan of first securing a lump of money for fixing that new contract for Phil, for then again securing another chump when arranging a move in the summer is now backfiring big time. John let that fuck deal involving Sterling happen and I am sure he promised himself that it was the last time an agent would win him over.

So what makes Coutinho happy after sept 1? Training with the reserves? He is not securing his next 5 years career with that, and Barcelona has a multiple of midfield problems ro solve next summer as well. Best option for Phil is to sack that clown of an agent, get his act together and win us the CL. Then John will be happy and sanction his move.

I don't remember seeing any player make that choice, the WC is the pinnacle for almost every player on the planet. And for a Brazilian to do that ? Especially one who is touted to be the captain ? Not a chance in hell, whatsoever.

I don't believe that 'heart isn't in it' for a second. He isn't Torres and there's too much on the line for him, as in jeopardising any potential move next year (or January if we get Keita then) and the captaincy of Brazil in a WC year.

Yep, he needs to play this carefully or he'll end up in a position where he's no longer wanted by Brazil, no longer wanted by Barca and no longer wanted by Liverpool fans. It's a dangerous game to even suggest he's going to down tools, let alone do it.

Yeah, but he's potentially missing an entire season too, isn't he? In the limited timespan of a professional football career that would be an extraordinary sacrifice, and potentially professional suicide.

Everyone overlooked the fact that dembele, one of the hottest, most exciting young talents in europe, who is performing on a weekly basis... Got compared to Ryan babel

And no one is pulling insig up on that

A'ight
