Insigne in the Game Frame?

JJ is right, all the greats never leave italy with a very rare exception.
Buffon
Maldini
Costacurta
Totti
Pirlo
Vieri
Di Rossi
Inzaghi
Del Piero
Ambrosino

All the Italian greats of the last 20 years have stayed put. Only Canavaro left Italy I think.
They are similar to English players, they dont like to leave and are so used to playing in their country with their style of football that it almost always translates poorly.
Not least because its the second teir players who leave.

HOWEVER. Insigne is one of this generations very very top teir players. Id be surprised if his talent didnt translate.
Thing is......he wont leave Italy. The good ones never do. Thats why I didnt even pack an overnight bag for this one. Its a non starter

Italy is an ace country.
If I was fron there I wouldnt leave and id be fucking devastated if I had to come to England

To be fair... you could apply that logic to just about every country in the world....

.... except Wales.

China scares you? . It's about 291 times safer than the UK 😀

I can assure you - Australia is much better than the UK.

Australia - maybe going there this year. Have a lot of Flyer points to use up and amazingly Australia is in the same sector as China so tickets very cheap (points-wise). I've heard nothing but great reports - bar drunken Aussies, venomous snakes and spiders and estuarine saltwater crocs !
USA - Guns & too many with 'Trump supporter' mentality, ugh. Been there 3 times and once had a holdup happen 10m away. The perpetrator ran past my wife, 6 yr old daughter and myself still waving his gun around. Very scary.
South Africa - man it's got the Kruger National Park (amongst others) and Cape Town, plus the people have awesome accents, so how can it be anything except wonderful ?
Iran - absolutely one of the top places on my list to visit. I'm going to hike there in the next 2-3 years for sure. Everyone in the hiking community seems to love it, amazing, incredibly friendly, people.
China - awesome place to live but immigration very difficult. Personal safety is amazing.
Mexico - yes and no. International Living rate it as one of the Top 10 places in the world to retire to.
Brazil - scary as fuck. Wife had a friend kidnapped for a ransom (he was returned after it was paid).

Australia is a great place to live, but there's no history! I've thought long and hard about going there after travelling, it's not a patch on Europe for culture, history etc.. Its purely the lifestyle that attracts folk. Likewise with NZ.

No mate, "it" really isn't. It's just nuts to dismiss a country that big, with so many different people in it, at a stroke in such a way.
Im ok with that. America is a festering bubo on the planet. Id rather live in the fucking Yemen.
1 Yemen Street......Yemen.

NB - I know its not all wank, ive got derailed off my argument that not every country is better to live in than England. I actually liked Sacramento and LA in a lot of ways, but FUCK living there.

Im sure id like New York. Never been tho

New York is great, I would love to go back. And New Yorkers aren't rude, they have this reputation for it but the average Athenian could teach them a lesson. Paris is probably the rudest place I've been to.

There are parts of the states that are grim, though. There are towns in places like Louisiana or Mississippi that driving through then would make you want to top yourself.

Which is why the UK is great for visits - but not so much fun to live in.

Aboriginal culture is one of the oldest in the world (if you’re in to that sort of thing) and Maori culture is actually fascinating - even the bits about when they ate the early European settlers.

Bit like driving through the midlands I guess...

Or the bits about them not actually being Kiwis at all .....

Yeah, just like NZ'ers (and South Africans and the odd Aussie) are useful when topping up the English, Irish, Scottish and Welsh rugby teams...
Not quite the same thing though. NZ go to great lengths to get the top Pacific Islanders into their system.... And so we end up with 50% of the ABs having been born outside the country!
