Why are they playing Soucek as a deep-lying CM ? I thought he was more of an AM, like how West Ham played him ?

They play 2 defensive midfielders either Souček/Holes or Souček/král and with either pairing Souček is given some freedom to move up the pitch but all their other midfielders Darida, Masopust, jankto, sevcek, barák are all good (apart from Jankto IMO who is having yet another anonymous game) and all attacking players.

They're bringing on král now to play beside Holeš so Souček will now augment the attack.
