Forgive me this thread, I know it's been shit at times and we still have probles as a team, questions, fears about ownership about management about everything LFC in fact and I know that this is a place to express those thoughts but .... I dunno....

Fuck all that!

I am fucking MADE UP we beat them cunts!! GET THE FUCK IN!!

and the fucking mancs n all..... GET DOUBLE THE FUCK IN!!

this is a get the fuck in thread for people like me who cant be bothered to analyse it all right this minute!!

CMON THE REDMEN!!

I don't think we can really get that excited - we have been in this position in the past 10 years at least twice and one of those seasons turned into a right old disaster for the team and the other as recently as last season - it took what was it Jamie said today ... "15 games" before we lost a game last season ? - I think my lack of confidence is still down to the fact that our team has not played well consistently and last weeks draw with Stoke did not inspire much confidence. I still think the old problems are still there. I can see us lose and have a confidence drain as we have in the past. The only good thing is that Torres scored today because I tell you what lads - its been quite scary that given our 50M+ strikers on show that none have been scoring lately.

Moron indeed.

If we'd been offered these results in the summer we'd all of taken them. Sure some of the performances were shite, but the manner we've beaten Utd and Everton goes along way to making up for it.

If we improve to the level of the back end of last season and stay tight at the back we could have one hell of a season.

Lets be cheerful for a change!

Yeah, fuck it! A magnificent day. We beat Everton with ease! My son's team won their local derby too! And Arsenal lost at home to Hull! Sweeeeeeet...

Even though we won both and i'm glad we did, i celebrated so much more when we beat the Scum, it just holds much more significance

But of them 15 we prob had a load of draws in there, I know we did against Stoke which is a terrible result but I think the draw at Villa wasn't too bad.

Plus we didn't beat the Mancs so thats 3 points up on one team points wise.

And as Jamie also said, neither of our strikers (till today) had really started playing. & I'm convinced Bable has more of a role to play this year.

I'm more than content with how this season has started.

Moron and Mors are both Man Utd supporting WUMs.

yeah right ? - why because I am trying to bring a sense of realism ? - we have been in this situation so many times - last year I thought was a turning point when we were if I remember near the top or at the top after November and then come new year and we are completely out of it. My rule for this season is - do not praise the team if they have one good game and don't hope for the title unless we are in the top two in February. That is the golden rule my friends - we have to keep winning and unlike some of you who were trying to find excuses for the draw against Stoke last week - I was giving the team a lot of shit for their incompetence. Every home game must be won and too many draws are like a loss and an actual defeat will damage our title chances to the point where a single loss could mean losing the title. On evidence this season we have not seen any significant change in the team and the way it goes about its business and game(s) against the Beglian outfit in the CL qualifier was an extremely stressful game for the majority of us - and how close were we to going out of the CL ? - a minute or a few seconds. Have you considered the mind of the players - we do not have any evidence that mentaly they have improved - last season it went wrong as soon as we lost the first game and for the moment we don't know if the players can recover after a loss. We will see !!!!

Rant Ove r- Moron the Magnificant !!!

It was just as bad IMO. We played well at times against Stoke and, even though we looked shite for most of the game, on another day we would have drubbed em 5-0 just on the half chances alone. At Villa we came up against a team who put in a mediocre performance against us, who dicked us about all summer in the press and who we should have gone out and battered, however we didn't manage a single shot on goal in 90 minutes, that is worse than going out of the FA cup to Barnsley at home.

i think he means it wasn't too bad in terms of the result, which is fair comment, in that the other big 4 teams will by no means find it easy to get a win there either. in terms of the title race, it was an acceptable result.

No, it wasn't and it shouldn't have happened.

I'm actually not that upset about the Stoke game; the cunts played for a point and we still managed to make 30 shots on goal.

AND we actually scored a goal that shouldnt have been disallowed.

The draw sucks, but it happens.

Our shit performance against Villa should not have happened.

Moron!!

Get to fuck with your flippin analysis bollox..... i happen to agree with you on certain things but FUCK THAT.... this is a GET THE FUCK IN!!thread!

PURELY INTENDED for those of us who can ignore debates and pesky realities and feel the fucking joy of the win.....those of us who are happy enough to slurp on the sweet teet of victoria and gulp it all down and save the questions till later.

Be informed that i shall be buying numerous newspapers this morning and shall also go out of my way to be cheerful as fuck to various random people whilst saving a special special piece of my heart for the 3 blue mates I know out here.... i may even invite a few of my gooners mate for a pint and talk analytically about yesterdays events whilst occassionally flashing a very very broad deep and meaningful smile.

Like i said it's a GET THE FUCK IN!!thread ..... indeed the irony of this moronic and silly thread being hijacked back into reality by a poster called moron has just made me chuckle out loud.

I think my happiness my well venture off into lunatic smugness in a few hours time but for now Im still tasting victorias milky pap....

Oh and it tastes sweeeeet.... GET THE FUCK IN!!

get in FFF!

you know it makes sense.... fucking LOVE beating them.
[/quote]

There's nowt better, and they could have no complaints either, which makes it all the more sweeter. United and Everton eh?? GET THE FUCK IN!!! 😉

indeed marky la..... ;D

Complaints would be futile. I shall start crowing at me blue mate around midday i reckon, im gonna go for the sympathetic " your my mate" routine.... then hit him with both barrels with a lengthy discussion about how its a travesty that Torres was denied a hat-trick.

I shall describe the flight of the ball as it sailed into harbour in the bottom corner of the net.

I may even have a discussion regarding whether Moyes is the right man to take them to the next level....

GET IN....

OOps i think the smugness has just kicked in!!

Later in a few weeks time maybe i may even resurrect the topic by talking about the mixed metaphor of the flight of a ball sailing in.....

is it flying or is it sailing?? it's a tricky one.....

Unless of course it's a flying boat of a goal!!

that would solve the linguistic dilemma..

Oh yes .... I am going to be the very most smugnest cunt on the planet..... i reckon im even gonna hate meself im gonna be such a complete bastard rubbing that in.

After the long shadow of the Americans ownership spat and finances, it feels fantastic that Liverpool are in the headlines for all the right reasons.

We have shown character, consistency and great mental strength. The combination of these will go a long way to winning the Premiership. One game at time. I like what I see even though its not all champagne and roses. I like the taste of victory.

Watched the game yesterday in Bologna with... Bologna. I dont know if its just being away from this site for a week, but I was floating on air after that match. Now in an internet cafe in Florence, wanting to share the joy of our newfound mental strength and league-topping form with fellow reds, and... this is practically the only non-carping, straight-out-celebrating thread on the first page. Whats wrong with us? Cheer the fuck up!

Btw, our second-half turnaround had nothing to do with formations or sending-offs or substitutions. It happened because I was wearing a pale blue T-shirt in the first half. At half time I changed it for a red(ish) sweatshirt. The rest is history...

your t shirt and my lucky bar stool with the wonky leg ( it got damaged against olympiacos a few years back 😉 )
