Lallane and Coutinho would be used primarily in the midfield 3, I think, as they were last season. Well, Coutinho towards the end, anyway.

I largely agree with you. Although having watched Lemar/Monaco perform last year in the CL (and France vs England), I have to say, their players showed they were the real deal and the ridiculous prices are obviously the result of clubs not needing to sell, which has inflated the market throughout Europe.
I'm hoping we'll get inflated fees on Sahko/Origi/whoever we sell.
We almost did it with Rodgers and Suarez but for the slip. Should we do it again ... can it be done in this league ? Is this not what Wenger has tried to do for 15 odd years and consistently failed.
Whats strange about this market is that no one has actually gone to leagues outside of Europe to get a player. All business is being done with other European clubs...why dont we take a risk and look at some players directly from other continents or is Klopp against that ?
