My point is where was Johnson when he was 21 years old?
If remember it correctly he was pretty much a reserve at Chelsea and then they binned him and Portsmouth took him in.
The thing is you're just too quick to judge this kid.
What you said has the potential to come back and bite you in the arse.

That has no relevance whatsoever. You simply cannot back up your point. Anyone with half an ounce of sense knows who the better player is.

I'm loathed to go overboard about a player I don't rate particularly highly as a defender, but when Johnson was at West Ham he was fantastic at a young age, quick, drove the team forward, played with a responsibility and maturity way beyond his years and consistently received MOTM accolades (including his debut against us).

Rafael is just a curly haired diving hybrid of Fergies regime, a standard steady Eddie who can run quick and is more than capable of receiving unanimous 10's for his diving and play acting ability. He's a cunt and a perfect representation of everything that's hated about United. And he's not particularly great.

I'm not gonna try to convince you, Mr McGovern.
I think Rafael is better than Johnson, that's all.

I wish Sky would make up their minds. They've been alternating all day between City having the chance to win the Premiership 'for the first time ever' and winning the title 'for the first time since 1968'. There's probably a Wizard of Oz type midget rubbing his temples in the Sky Hype Room trying to figure out which phrase sounds more exciting.

Jim White?

He will be there til he beats Paisley's record or is unwell enough to carry on managing.

He can't beat Paisley's record unless he goes back in a time machine, wins more trophies within the same time span and then retires.

The hypocrite has been trying his shit mind tricks again, saying City players will be in the ref's face during the QPR match, just as they were against Utd.

I think the thing everyone is forgetting is that Ferguson may well have already invented a time machine and changed the past, after all, how would we know? Certainly a lot of things since the eary 90s only make sense if we suppose Ferguson has fucked about with the timeline and we already know he has an obsession wth temporal mechanics.

I know that's wrong because I've already invented a time machine simply to promote my own position as the saddest pedant in England. I go around changing 'you're' into 'your' and 'they're' into 'their,' when people are sure they typed those things properly, and then I come on and oh so haughtily point out the errors. I anticipated that you'd want proof, so I've taken the trouble to change your very own post to include some clumsy minor schoolboy errors. I really am that brilliant (time machine) and petty (schoolboy errors). Ginsoak has no chance.

Got any particular reasoning?
I like that he's tenacious, like a young Carragher. He's also very quick.
Looks small but very strong for his size, I haven't seen him get bullied off the ball too many times.
Great going forward and good defensively. He's only 21 years old and I have a feeling he'll get much better.
Why I think he's better than Johnson?
Mostly because of his potential but I think he can do whatever Johnson is doing better.

This time last year:

He's not going any place, not until he over throws this Barca team.....

That didn't work out so well.

Arse. Go watch Man Utd-Everton 4-4. Rafael has cost them the title from that game. He is scrap.

DONT SAY THAT

he hasn't cost them anything yet

*prays to no-jinx gods*

So that game defines him as a player and it cost them the title? I guess Wigan beating them was a sure bet.
Anyway, Johnson has made tons of mistakes himself. His positioning against Chelsea at their 2nd goals comes to mind.

Isn't Fabio being sent on loan next season?
They surely can't breathe without each other

No, Rafael is.

Fabio's the one who's played in most of United's games this season. I rate him quite highly.

A little naive defensive but he's young and has all the attributes to be a top full back in the years to come. He's quick, skillful and good on the ball.

Isn't Fabio the shitter left back and Rafael the better right back?

My Manc mate is sure that Fabio is the one going on loan and I'm fairly sure that Rafael has played more games than Fabio this season.

Maybe you're right. I thought it was Fabio that had played more and Rafael not so much hence it was him going on loan next season.

Defo read that Fergie was looking to send one of them on loan next season anyway.

Yep,Lisbon are the suitors.
One foot out the door I'd say.
