We are in agreement. It was always fanciful to think he was some freak of nature who was excellent defensively as well as in attack. Pure bullshit. The truth would have been that he was an inferior version of Kante and nothing more. The only reason he had good attacking attributes is because many teams in Germany were so bereft of attacking threat that he had no choice but to stroll up to the penalty box and pretend to be Platini. It would never have happened that way for us.
