I wanNaby (Under the sea in an Octopus's Garden in the Shade) - Deal Confirmed

15 posts in 11 years and every one a FUCKING MASTERPIECE.

bongaloid has treated us to his wise words in only a handful of thread.

One about Radiohead, one about the 2010 season, one about his birthday, one to call out Roger Rederer in a Ryan Babel thread and now the Naby Keita thread.

Good work Doc Mac. It must have been your thread title that inspired bongaloid.

YOU MUST CAMP WITH US

I mean, it's a bit scary when you look down but the ropes hold us firm

Now that's my type of pitch !
If you rotate it.

The ITK :

It's not the bid that is the issue, but the structure of payment. Leipzig want around 50% upfront and absorb Keita's 10% bonus. Deal will clear once this is sorted and then attention will move to van Dijk which will be relatively easier in comparison. Keita was not injured nor substituted, but walked off the pitch!

But walked off the pitch? 😵

That ITK won't give this one up !

Naby Keita's agent is in Hong Kong to discuss his client's transfer to Liverpool. The discussions could lead to Keita handing over a transfer request to force Leipzig's hands on the matter. Liverpool's £66.5M bid has literally split the board down the line. The issue is more to do with the structure of the payments and a small matter of Keita's bonus - which Leipzig wants to be absorbed in the terms.

For a club that "under no circumstances" will sell Keita, Leipzig has been very vocal in the media (even though not a single words has been uttered on the transfer by Liverpool officials).

Its not happening. Anyone can come up with this shit.
They said they arent selling.
Move on.
Goretzka is a better fucking player anyway

That's just a rehash of the itk BS from lunchtime Froggy , albeit with a fluffed out paragraph.

It doesn't take a genius to surmise that after RBL saying he isn't for sale to the media that the player might have to ask to leave for this to come through , not sure why his agent would have to fly around the world for that conversation, however . If and it's a big IF the agent is even in Hong Kong , it would surely be to close the deal not to continue as some sort of intermediary

The agent could have his comb and toothbrush and a condom full of his jizz that he's fished out the bin, and there's a seance going on now. Makes sense. This is still on.

To be fair, Mirror are reporting we're going back with a £70million bid, i'd suggest that that'll be our last bid, will it be enough?

It's just as much about how the deal is structured as how much it's for.

With that in mind I'd suggest that even if the 70m is rebuffed we may still be confident enough to try again with a different structured deal.
