How long will the patience and Support last ?

As it's all gone random in here, does anybody else think Sterling the campest footballer about?

Maybe it's the hair, I could imagine him being a hairdresser with that do.

Since we have taken in BR I said give him 5 years. But do we have the patience?

Maybe, perhaps but then the only way is up.

But hey we kept a clean sheet and he is sorting out the defence like.

I said before the season started I'd give him a year before I started on him, and I'm just going to say now that I'm a massive liar because the man is a fucking dickhead.

I was speaking about this with a Spurs fan the other day. He asked me how long I would give Rodgers and I said 'at the very least two years' (unless we were getting relegated or something mental). He was shocked and replied he would only give AVB until Christmas if he was doing shit. Personally I'm bored of changing managers all the time. We went 25 years and only changed our manager four or five times. I want to go back to that. I believe in Rodgers and I believe his way of playing football. It's going to take him a long time to sort out a lot of the problems and the club and he has to be given that.

there is no crisis, and Ross's view on the team this year is spot on in my opinion

we just need steady improvement in a macro sense, one result here or there should not really raise anyone's ire

today is a minor speed bump in the long-term view of things

He needs more time than anyone gave Dalglish. Ok, so he makes shit substitutions. Maybe he's experimenting? I don't know a fuck. But I do know that he's got a great attitude. He's not afraid to try something new. He's playing some of the younger lads, and getting rewarded for it.. Ok, maybe not in results, but he has them playing well. He's made what looks to be some very promising signings. Fuck off, haterz.

Same shit different manager, loads of possesion yet no penetration an no one who can put the ball away...

All managers don't seem to recognise the issue which is no one can fucking score, they only seem concerned with their fucking system. We couldn't score last year so what does a new manager do, bring in midfielders and an unproven striker along with shipping out a load of forwards....Until we get someone who can score we will be 8-10 leagure position.

I have said it before but we have Zero players when looking through the teamsheet who you think WILL score, not who could score but who will score. Stevie, doesn't really get forward as much, suarez will every third game, sterling nope, suso not yet, shelvey not really, downing never, allen not a chance, borini nope...

Everything else is bollocks, no one to put the ball in the net.

People keep going on about the subs being shit, they've said it for a few seasons now. Maybe it's the substitutions themselves that are shit?

That said, we should have another striker on the bench (aswell as Borini).

It's not like he didn't want a striker, he wanted Sturridge and/or Dempsey and ended up with no one.

Well he did yesterday, but I thought he's made some pretty shrewd ones in earlier matches. The touching, however, well, it's only a matter of time before he pulls another manager's kecks down. They'll be screaming "Stop it! STOP IT!!!" but they'll be helpless, and children everywhere will be traumatised.

There's only so far you can go with that anyway. It depends (a) on how much you're allowed to spend and (b) on how many players of the right standard we can actually afford. No point in buying just anybody.

In our search to find something to moan about the new manager, its the touching that gets most attention.

I find it bizzarre tbh. We're starting to look like a football team, are giving youth a chance and are a couple of signings from being a very good team again.

We've got one of youngest average ages around in our starting eleven these days yet the patience is already wearing thin.

Its bizzarre, just really odd that we have to look for something to slag him off with.
He says okey all the time! Burn him! He touched someone! Burn him!

Mental.

Yeah but it could be his undoing Hansern, I was really worried when we played Young Boys the other week. Good job he'd done his homework.

Hansern, excellent though your English is, I think you're misreading some of this. Some comments have been passed about some of Rodgers' behaviour but it hasn't been raised as a serious criticism of him. Cool your jets a little.

He's adressing the issues we've been talking about for ages. Its not done in one window, and it wasnt helped by Ayres incompetance either.

Leaving Downing out and not playing senior players that dont look up to it, is excellent imho.

Yeah but the touching though, the touching.

I like the way rodgers has us playing and think its the way forward. We all knew that this season was going to be very up and down so i don't see why anyone is stressing out yet. What he needs is time and if he gets it he will get us up the table. We have outplayed the majority of teams we have played this season but our finishing is shocking. If we had one or two decent finishers in the team we would see a huge difference. thats why i was a bit gutted we didn't go for Ba. yeah i know there's no insurance and he could break down at any minute, but he's a quality finisher and was only 7m. But Rodgers is definitely building something here and we are slowly improving so even though the results aren't good yet i think he deserves AT LEAST the same amount of time as King Kenny considering how he has nowhere the same amount to spend.

Yea that last bit is important, he's always going to get a bit of leeway especially from the owners because he has been given quite a small amount to spend and what he's brought in has fared pretty well. In the financial sense he hasn't been given enough rope to hang himself.... yet, where Kenny and Comolli had enough to hang the both of them.
