How long will the patience and Support last ?

Perhaps they were initially after a quick sale, and now they see the long term benefits yo their accounts if they turn up round.

Could be, but I doubt it. I don't think such a course of action would ever have been worth their while.

So you don't think they bought us cheaply?

I think they bought us comparatively cheaply, but (a) they then sank a lot of money into transfers in Kenny's time and (b) we're not yet doing well enough to justify anyone paying the kind of money which would give them any profit, let alone a decent one.

I thought you were patient? You seem to have us dead and buried on all counts.
He wants us to be so he can ride on the back of the phoenix that will come from the ashes

Or he's a wum

Either/or

Only if it means a takeover by people who will do a better job, and it's waaaaaaay too soon to be able to decide that one way or the other.

I was pissed off by todays result, but im in no way going to lose patience in Mr Rodgers.

The man has inherited a terrible squad of overpaid aged overrated shite he has little money to spend and has to turn round a shambles. It wont happen overnight, but i like the sinings of Allen and Sahin and i like the fact he is playing kids and dropping proven failures. I like that he has shipped out a load of wank players.
I really like what he is starting. You cant do what he needs to in one window.
January needs to see further advancement and hopefully a good end to the season. Then a good summer and a real proper bash next year.

It's not blind optimism, count. I don't like the position in which we find ourselves at the moment and I'm aware of the dangers we could slip into if we don't start climbing the table by Jan.at the latest. My assumption regarding the owners is based on two things, (a) what they've already said about not holding it against Brendan Rodgers if we have a difficult time until January - which suggests to me that they've already understood we will have to act then - and (b) the simple fact that they have squillions invested in the club which they'll want to protect and maximise.
Maybe all this worrying has made me over anxious.
A string of wins might ease some of them I guess.
I hope you are right mate.

FWIW I am not complaining about Rodgers or anything he has done and I fully appreciate that this is a long term project that will take time and patience,
Unfortunately I am far from convinced that all the pieces are in place to ensure the project has the optimum chance of success.
