We are so strong as the league suggests but not perfect. When looking at our goal difference I see we have the exact same as City although we are 20+ points ahead. I believe a large portion of this is due to the one goal wins that we seem to have mastered. This is all good right now but I feel we could if we could win matches by greater margins then we would be able to stop making every match seem like a FA Cup final reduce the risk of injuries and long term fatigue.
I know it seems weird to suggest that we need more goals as we approach the 100 point barrier but maybe having another striker on the books to challenge Firmino when he's having an off game should be a priority and also having a KDB/Bruno Fernandes option from midfield would help us to achieve this. Obviously we could move Trent into midfield and Neco into RB but I wonder whether if Klopp is ready to change his tried and trusted tactic as admittedly Trent is like a cheat code at RB. Maybe if Trent was playing in midfield it would be easier to mark him out of the game but at RB he can generally do what he wants without being pressed out the game.
