Now have I just been on sixcrazyminutes too long, or are there actually more Liverpool fans who share this opinion?

I find it astounding. (Again this could be due to the sixcrazyminutes brainwash - though i highly doubt it.)
 
I wonder how much of a say he'll have in any January transfers. Hopefully lots.

The best things about this appointment are that:

a) We're back to having someone in charge who knows what great football and winning is all about and how its done; and

b) Hodgson is gone

Rafa lost the dressing room. All it needed is someone to galvanise and inspire them, with a view to then strengthening in a few key areas. Sadly Hodgson only managed to uninspire

No TBH, most fans look at it in the (equally wrong) reverse attitude. That Rafa did nothing wrong & it's all Roy's fault.

Of course, the truth lies somewhere between the two, Rafa made the best team we've had in a decade or more, then systematically destroyed it with his less positive character traits. Roy's come in & had a poor squad to work with but exacerbated the situation with stubborn mindedness & making basic errors. IMO, obv.

I'd never show him loyalty nor out & out defend him, but anyone who thinks he was the only or major problem is sadly mistaken, our problems go much much deeper than that. Unfortunately his shortcomings & lack of suitability in every way have masked them all, when they're equally as important.
 
I'm "friends" with Neets on facebook and one of her "friends" responded to her excitement at Roy's departure with-

"Absolutely ridiculous decision. I hope the Pool get relegated"

I have yet to get to the bottom of this silliness.
 
Oh I fully agree, but I sort of see why some people would stubbornly refuse to blame Benitez, but not Hodgson.
 
I agree that it was never just Roy's fault but I don't agree that the other problems are just as important, though all of them have got to be solved. The vast majority of the players who stuffed Real Madrid 4-0 and United 4-1 are still at the club.

Dont get me wrong, I dont think its all Roy's fault. There are a lot of contributing factors. But to absolve him of any blame whatsoever??!

The club is a big a mess as Newcastle these days .As muck as i love The King we should just appoint a permanent manager and get the FUCK on with it.
