Hello good people of 6CM,

Having spend a few years in a self-imposed exile, I thought the time was about right to return to the fold.

Some may remember me some may not but I am just like most others on here, a Liverpool fan by heart. Always have been always will be, and though our 'relationship' over the past years have been troubled and at times almost unbearable, I'll always be a supporter of this fantastic club.

So, what's happened on these boards for the past few years? Still the same old faces and same old argues? A quick recap would be appreciated.

Btw, the appointment of Klopp is possibly and hopefully one of many steps in the right direction for years to come.

Ha ha I think I will start somewhere else, as I sense there could be a lot of ghosts of threads past lingering in there that I honestly don't have the stomach for this soon..

Generally speaking however, I do believe we could very much use a CB with greater qualities in that specific area than what we have got right now.

Ha ha yeah wouldn't be against it at all mate, but as with every other youth around whether he'll actually become a star player is questionable. He has certainly not had the best of luck with that 1½-year lengthy injury spell and people were starting to raise question marks over his future and progress. And rightly so.

This Season with Ajax he hasn't been all bad mind (you agree)? and he has certainly still got that pure eagerness and willingness to win that is not that common seen in today's game. Perhaps also a trait we have lacked since the departure of Suarez (and Gerrard), we do seem to lack players that'll do whatever it takes to win. Fischer is of that ilk but whether he'd cut it with a club of Liverpool's status is of course a different matter.

PS Now I am all excited, we'll defo sign him up now..
