The racial attack outside the Majestic in Leeds was months, if not a year or so before. We offically pulled out due to the lack of desire by Bowyer to join Liverpool, but it was probasbly the backlash from the fans which stopped Houllier signing him.

There are no witnesses, only the word of her upset colleague. Would she launch an investigation to fact find or sack the accused on the spot?

Its been made known to me that Evra gets called "negro" by his Latin American team mates all the time in training and there's some Man Utd players who don't understand why the whole episode went as far as it did. I'm probably going to get in big shit now for sharing that. Have you not wondered why NO players have come out in public support of Evra? Maybe, just maybe, he's a lying cunt that's why.


As for the latest incident, the club has fully supported the police in this and will act as strong as they can upon anyone who uses racist language. If the lad is found to be proven guilty then he deserves everything coming to him. As for your Diane Abbott support Anita, it smacks of double standards to me but we all have opinions on matters. I think your passion on the whole subject is clouding your ability to weigh up some possibilities on it though.

That's nice and harmless. Good job LFC seems to be the only major club that publicly opposes such prejudice.
 
Re your post sunny again on a personal point I don't have time for seige mentality mainly cos everyone seems to think everyone is against us right now. Again I can only speak about what I have observed and from my interaction with various people of different walks.
Last year when I shared an office with a couple of gooners I was shocked to hear em both say the media is against them and fuck the media cos thy didn't care. I wanted to punch them cos I was saying the media loves arsenal but they were having none of it, they and wenger didn't get the credit they deserved from media, fa or anyone else.
I have also spoken to ltw a number of times re again imo how the Jewish community do this, Israelis Hamas use it as a form of propaganda against the world... Maybe swap a few words around ltw and see if you agree with the first coue

Haha! You see, to me, I don't really want a world where that kind of remark is unacceptable. Yes, it's mildly offensive and pretty stupid, but really... seems to me the lesser of two evils to just let it go.

Am I wrong for thinking that? Perhaps we'd be better off for stamping out this kind of thing just as we have for comparably harmless remarks about race? Genuine question.
 
This is what it's come to.

My wife and I took our little girl to Knowsley safari park yesterday. For those who haven't been there's a monkey enclosure, which you can drive through and let the monkeys rip your car to pieces. Or there's the safe-route behind the fences, which we took. Anyway, we're sitting watching half a dozen monkeys laying siege to a huge 4x4 BMW and who should be in the driving seat....Suarez.

So, I sent a text to a few of my relatives saying Suarez's car is getting battered in the monkey enclosure. And to a man all of them came back and thought it was a racist joke!
 
Police investigating an incident of alleged racist abuse by fans at Anfield towards Oldham Athletic defender Tom Adeyemi have arrested a man.

An investigation was launched after Friday night's Liverpool v Oldham FA Cup third-round game.

Merseyside Police said a 20-year-old man from Aintree, Merseyside, was arrested on suspicion of a racially aggravated public order offence.

The man is being held in custody and being interviewed by detectives.

The game was stopped briefly while Adeyemi - on loan from Norwich - alerted referee Neil Swarbrick to the incident.

On Saturday evening, Liverpool issued a statement, saying: "Liverpool Football Club continue to work closely with Merseyside Police to establish all the facts surrounding the incident that occurred during last night's game.

"We take this matter extremely seriously and have today provided the police with the evidence we currently have available to us."

The incident compounds a difficult few weeks for Liverpool, who were without Luis Suarez for the match against the Oldham as the striker serves an eight-match ban for racially abusing Manchester United defender Patrice Evra at Anfield in October.

They way the papers are piling this shit on, you'd think it was only LFC that ever had a fucking Racist or indecent idiot in the ground ever!
