In all seriousness, it's extremely commendable on Oldham's part. No doubt they've had journalists swarming all over them hoping for some juicy soundbites and quotes. Perhaps utd should learn from this more measured and responsible approach.

It's the second good public comment from Oldham, following the chairman's remarks at the weekend, and neither has so far been acknowledged by most of the Platonic Guardians who now appear to bide their time scribbling for the sports pages. And that increasingly irritating Piara Powar hasn't had the decency to acknowledge that he has stuck his snout into one too many situations and made wild claims before knowing the full facts.

A bit of basic research shows it's not his first bit of controversy. Married to Celtic fan Aasmah Mir of Radio 5, he was the one who was championing the punishment of sectarian chants by Rangers fans. Not sure if he was so vocal about the vie versa situation.

The Rangers fans also felt they were victims of a vendetta.

Nice to see he has very obvious mainstream media contacts to abuse to continue spouting his shite.
