No not the musical the country
Now I know it is hard having a pay cut and having your quality of life reduced but is it just me who thinks the greeks are acting like stupid feckers here.
BBC News - Protests in Greek general strike turn violent
They are striking (which involves not being paid of course) because of tax rises and wage cuts but what exactly did they think the country would have to do to get back in the pink.
Sacrifices will have to be sucked up no matter how hard they are otherwise the country's economy will cease to exist.
We know in this country that some serious tax rises will be coming to pay back the overspend. I currently get £130 a month child benefits, that will go for starters. I took a 10% pay cut last year as well, we will all suffer whilst someone tries to pay back the defecits, it is going to be shit. Ireland made some huge cuts recently, I did not hear of any strikes/riots ETC good on them.
All seems a little "cut of your nose to spite your face" to me when it comes to the greeks.
