his shirt (the official one with all the insignia) costs 125 Aussie dollars ... I may buy it in the next few months.

They were down (I think) 3-1 or 4-1 when he decided to kick that fellow in the face. Who can blame him? He got not even a yellow. Legend.

1st goal in a six goal 'thriller'.

Fowler scored again for the North Queensland.

First time I have been against him scoring a goal, as it was against my local team - Brisbane.

How did he look Roopy? He took his goal well, he looks sharp.

He looks like he's carrying a bit of weight still.

His side are still searching for their first win of the season ... 2 draws, 3 losses.

However, those 2 draws could well have easily been 2 wins if not for late equalisers by the opposing team.

Nth Qld don't have any of the top players in the league, they do have young players with lots of potential in Spagnuolo and Williams... there downfall is that they have two defensive midfielders in their 4-4-2 setup, so the supply to Fowler is not good.

But, Fowler has been doing the job when he has been getting the chances.

3 goals in 5 games is not bad at all considering Nth Qld's position on the ladder.

And in regards to his weight - yeah he looks he is carrying weight ... just wait til Summer time comes around in Australia (December) ... the heat and humidity of Nth Qld will reduce his body fat instantly ;D

Fowler just scored a cracking volley from 20 yards out on the run against Sydney.

Class act.

"Ecclesiastical class". WTF? Did he stroke it in like a Bishop with an altar boy? Some seriously bad wordsmanship by the pundit there.

If only that shithead of an Everton 'keeper hadn't half crippled him before he'd even reached his peak. Robbie is one of the most richly gifted players of all time in my opinion.

Fuck me what a strike.

Fowler about the fan who celebrated with them:

Failing those memories of Merseyside, the fellow who jumped the fence and cuddled Fowler after the Liverpool legend scored his match-winning goal surely reminded him of home.

''He was actually from my school,'' Fowler said with a chuckle.

''I didn't know him, to be honest. But I went to a school called Nugents in Liverpool and he was telling me he was from there. We were just talking about our old gym teacher … But there's probably better places to catch up.''

That fan was wearing a Liverpool top... so I could wear mine, fly to Australia, wait for the inevitable next strike and go out and meet the Legend?

Not a bad idea. Have to work on my accent however, he'd know immediately we did not go to the same school......

BUMP.

What is going on with Robbie these days?
Is the season over? Did he have a heart attack?
Or has he just stopped scoring?

Most of his goals are linked in the 'God' thread on the FF Stu.

He's being playing really well.
