Johnson added to the team we had the season before we bought him, without it being gutted, would have been a fantastic addition. As it stands, as I said soon after, it wasn't a good use of funds. There's no question he's a good player, but he needs to fucking buckle down.

Time to revisit this. I'm sick of Glen Johnson. The summer of 2009 could have been so much better. Kelly could have been promoted to the first team and we could have bought a cheapish solid right back. That's without even mentioning the atrocity that went on with the midfield.

Probably the most likely to create something in attack and didn't give much away at the back. Good to see and hopefully he can build on this.
