Germany will win.

Paul the psychic octopus gets Spain Germany predictions wrong.

(I think Spain will take it, just)

Wash your mouth!

Paul speaks the truth. Always.

He's aces.

Spain 3-1. Which is a personal disaster given I've backed Germany at 14/1 to win the cup.

Tough one to call this. Before the tournament began I would have put my money on Spain, but the way the Germans have played I think I have to go for them.

I've been unexpectedly impressed by the Germans BUT they will miss Muller tonight. Also, I've never liked the Mertesacker/Freidrich partnership and think the Spanish will succeed where England and the Argies failed to.

I think this is the game in which the Germans are undone and am going for a comprehensive Spanish victory 3-0.

Agreed. I think Germany are good at defending crosses, but that isn't how spain play. If they play Villa up on his own, and play through the middle i think they'll win.

I'm aware of never writing off the Germans and they are probably the best team in the tournament thus far, but I'm going with the Octopus! Spain 1-0

Both the Germans and the Spanish have looked good solid teams who have bonded well. The Spaniards look to have the flair but I suspect that the Germans will be disciplined enough to frustrate them and score the only and winning goal of the game.

Germany, I think Spains slow build up and patience will mean it is harder for the Germans to hit them on th counter like they did against England and Argentina but I still think they will be too much for Spain who really need Torres to start scoring and help out Villa

Spain have been largely ordinary and scored hardly any goals, while Germany have thrilled so far, and thrashed several teams.

So Spain will probably win.

I hope Germany win, just cos that means it's more likely Klose will get the golden boot, or runner up, cos I have money on it e/w.

Shit, just realised, there's that 3rd/4th playoff too. Ah fuck.

I dunno then, just Villa not to score (which may have to involve him being locked in a cupboard) & Klose to score some please.

I think the germans are perfectly set up to hit spain on the counter! Plus spains full backs are sometimes comical when it comes to defending. The germans after extra time methinks!

Germany have looked great on the break, fast and commit players forward. However the Spanish defence has been solid whereas the German defence looks highly suspect. 2-1 to Spain.

I think those little black kids are almost instinctively worried when they hear the german national anthem.

Can you imagine his mood if Spain make the final and he doesn't play ?! Transfer request on our manager's desk the next Monday.

I don't think one thing would have anything to do with the other. It might humble him a little bit.

I feel sorry for him though, he's a player that always takes a while to come back from injury, and this isn't a side that ever gets the best out of him. His workrate on the pitch, even with his fitness, hasn't been the best, maybe he'll start to learn how to react better when things aren't going his way.

Spain have started very well. Just a little bit less selfishness is required from one of the attackers to provide a bit of width and show wide.
