He probably just learned that from some of the English lads. I barely understood what he said to be honest. But hey, I don't spend time with him on a daily basis I've just never seen him do an English interview.
Are you still talking about Dreamy here?

EDIT : I should turn over the page before commenting in future.

Too early for a City thread but the good news is :

Michael Oliver will take charge of the game between Liverpool and Man City at Anfield on Sunday afternoon.

It will be third time he has been the man in the middle for the game between the Reds and City.

Oliver will be assisted by Stuart Burt and Simon Bennett while the fourth official is Mike Dean. VAR will be Paul Tierney, with assistant VAR Constantine Hatzidakis.

I doubt he is struggling with English. The “go ed Curtis lad” shows that. He may not be comfortable in interviews as others and prefers to speak in his native tongue. I can’t remember many (if any) in English.

Look at dreamy his first language is English and we’ve known him for a decade or more and still we still struggle with his posts.
To be fair to DB, he is Oirish, so English might not be his mother tongue ?

Urgh just realised I'm at a dinner this evening. Was looking forward to this - we usually have a fun night when the group's minnows come to Anfield.

I'm honestly looking forward to this game. Nice being so confident of a win that you can just relax, lay back on your couch and just enjoy the whole thing.

You know that Lallana definately will play either today or sunday. Pick your moment 😉

Genk is about his level so I don't mind him playing. If he plays against City, you'll hear/read some more moaning.

Hmm. Well I could remind you that this is the level where Ox scored and those goals were used as evidence for him deserving a PL start. But I will not do that.

I think Klopp will be conservative and go for his "safe" first XI that he tends to use in the big games; Henderson/ Wijnaldum/ Fabinho.

Obviously it's 100% that Fabinho and one of the other two at least will start (although both have been poor lately) but I wouldn't be devastated if it was Fab plus one of H/W and then Chamberlain.

I am not sure who he will pick, but given it is 5 full days to next game I assume he will use Fabinho as he didn't feature last outing. My guess is that both Ox and Keita get the nod as they are trying to hit form after lengthy spells out.

Ah fucking hell I thought this was tomorrow I'm working late and was looking forward to seeing it tomorrow

Find a VHS casette with a bad movie you can erase, put a bit of paper into the small openings on the long side and Oh-la-la you can record the game and watch it over tomorrow. Avoid any newspapers and you will not even know the score before you watch it.

Oh, we DO have a time machine apparently

I think Klopp gave away the team in his presser.

It'll be a strong team with Gomez Origi Naby and Ox/Milner coming in

I'd be surprised to see to see any of the u23's in the squad tonight.

Any useful quotes from the press conference? Would be interesting to see if Gomez goes at RB (where he is average) or CB (where he has shown he can excel), Seems bonkers to keep putting him at RB which is a completely different and quite specialised position in our system.

He has really been looking out of his depth this season. Not good in positioning nor duell play. Hope he finds form soon. Maybe this is a good place to get a CB game.
