I quite often also support and big up players for the sheer fuck of it. Wether I rate them or not.
 
A number of great woo to poo candidates is the majority of the players that come through the youth system at Arsenal.

They get hyped to fuck but don't usually amount to all that much.
 
Theres no point making shit up Skulf. There are plenty of scopers ive rated over the years but Poulsen, Konchesky and Hodgson are not amongst them.
Poulsen in particular i was dead against signing.

Keane, Vignal, Carson....yep. Those three? No.

Yeah Diaby I thought was fucking amazing when i first saw him play.
 
Emile Heskey.. is another..

Was a monster in first two seasons.. after that it never really happened for him..
 
Morientes is a bit of an unfair shout.

He was a top striker in Spain for years as for David Bentley...

I thought it was about players in general, not just in England.

Because Morientes was great in Spain but shite in England.

I was about to post that... Although his Injuries leading to Mental health problem is what ruined his career.. I wander if he will ever get it together to play football again ?

To think we submitted a 10 million bid for him too, early in his career..
 
I never saw Michael Johnson play. Never knew if he was good or not.
Years ago I wanted Barton and Nolan though.
 
I don't think Morientes is a fair shout - he had a great career. He just happened to be totally unsuited to the Premier League when he arrived

Bentley was hyped with only a little substance to back it up.
 
What ever happened to Kerrison?
Think I remembered Barca paying quite a large amount for him but never seen him play.
 
If we're talking about any 'ol player now... how about Betis randomly breaking the world transfer record for Denilson who bombed massively.
 
I'll own up to vignal, Kewell and baros. I thought baros was awesome at the milk cup when he was 16 and built like Rooney but then he got skinnier and shitter every year.

Surely there are some quaresma fans about
 
Stephen Ireland, Lee Bowyer, and the lad who went to City and then Sunderland who's that good I can't even remember his name right now.
