Didn't get a corporate off my mate. Boo.

One of my best mates did though, made up for him. They're flying over & back by private helicopter too.

Town was shite last final so most of the lads are coming round here for it. Good job Bex is easy going. Just told her eight lads are coming round to get drunk & watch the match on a school night & she just said we'll need to get more beer in.

I'm going ticketless. Just one of them that has to be done. These occasions don't come around very often...9 years since our last European Final.

Nevermind a match ticket I'm kinda worried about finding somewhere to watch it..apparently they're not setting up big screen outside and the bars will be rammed.
 
I'm defo getting old or stoned or both but if there's nowhere to watch the match there then surely that's bollocks.

In Athens loads of people didn't get in but most I spoke to had a laugh watching it in bars. But this place is the size of St Helens. I mean if there's tens of thousands locked out of the match what are they gonna fucking do?

I'm thinking I'm gonna have to go just to find out.
 
It's fucking nuts that they're not setting up a screen though.

I know they're saying don't travel without a ticket, but they always say that & tens of thousands always ignore them.

That plus a tiny stadium & ticket allocation means it's inevitable there's gonna be loads of fans wanting to watch the match.
 
Yup...the fact UEFA have already put out a statement pleading for fans not to go without a ticket says it all. Be tens of thousands of Liverpool fans about a small City Centre and you just know they'll do fuck all for us. I've everything booked but just dawned on me earlier that getting to watch the match could be a battle itself.
 
Christ. Maybe I'm just a bit drunk (and I am) but I want to start looking at what transatlantic flights cost. Fuck. I miss being single and making irresponsible decisions.

I mentioned to some clients in Zurich that I was going to try and get a ticket and if successful could meet up with them. One emailed back to say he'd love a spare ticket if I had one, my boss then gave me the green light to buy two from a resale site. The transaction is currently on hold whilst they verify the card details or something but hopefully it will be ok!
 
the tickets were £900 each.....ridiculous but I'm not paying for them, just hope this ticketbis site is legit!

Doing some reading on that site it seems most of the issues are with people getting tickets that weren't in hand & ready to send out.

Did the tickets you bought have the aeroplane symbol next to them? If so that means they're in hand & easy to dispatch immediately & increases the chances of everything being ok.

Imagine the dough he's made this season out of the finals. Quick sums in my head it's six figures. That penalty shootout in the league cup semi must have had him twitching.

Anyways, fuck paying that.

Where does he get his tickets ? A load of membership cards with credits on them?
 
He's got a zillion hospitality season tickets and they all qualify, plus he's been at it for years and gets tons more from sponsors and associations etc.

I was referring to Woland getting into Basel for 6pm if he took that flight SK. My plan is to get into Basel around 12pm if I catch the train
