Anyone know anyone who went? Was great to hear those 2000 sing, they certainly sounded bigger than their numbers. And pictures like this really warmed my heart:



I really hope the downward trend continues so that at least 4000 could get in. You could see how much it means to the players and Klopp.

I'm guessing this is just an experiment to see how well it works. No reason at all why you couldn't easily have 2,000 in each stand (and in fact with the spacing and empty seats you could at the very least double that too). Of course the issue is with entry / exit but they can surely work out a strategy, like stay in your seats until your row is called.
 
I think the 2K limit is less about how much social distancing you can achieve in the stands and more to do with limiting the number of people congregating around the stadium, queuing to get in & milling around the concourses
