Yeah. This squad overhaul from Barca looks a little drastic to me. It's not like they were a mile away last year. It went down to the last game! I'd be worried if I was a Barca fan.

yeah obviously the overall package to sign fabregas is going to cost more than lallana and would probably be out of our wage structure but how can anyone not think it's crazy to give southampton a similar 25-30m fee for a player who as only done 2% of what fabregas has in their career ? . So you're telling me that we couldn't get better than lallana for that amount ?

Thats not what I'm saying at all. Of course I think you can get better for 25 mill. I'm just saying Fabregas will be on 3 times what Lallana will earn, which makes the deal 25-30 mill more expencive.

I dont think we're in a position to do that type of business yet. We need quite a few players this season.

Fabregas would have been a great signing for us.
