Fabinho not in the squad...
Fabinho not in the squad...
I really hope notHuge news this. It'll end up being lavia in for fabinho, which is not ideal at all
I really hope not
Edit: I mean I wouldn't mind Latvia but maybe as a backup
Get Amrabat, clearly the best deal out there for us right now. He's Dutch-Moroccan, he'll fit right in with VD and Gakpo.

Honestly, I rated Gravenberch until I saw him play for the u21s. There's a reason why he was dropped by Van Gaal for the world cup and why Bayern don't want him.Buying gravenberch seems the best.option of the names provided, but Bayern won't sell reasonably. Meaning do we go for amrabat who's available, and try and get lavia as well?

He's not the same player he was at Ajax and we shouldn't be blinded by the fact that he's young.
I'm not sold on Amrabat at all. Had a decent world cup but every time I've seen him for Fiorentina which admittedly is a handful he's been meh.Get Amrabat, clearly the best deal out there for us right now. He's Dutch-Moroccan, he'll fit right in with VD and Gakpo.
They still believe in him, read something about him being available on loan.I thought Bayern were still very eager
He was great in the final against West HamI'm not sold on Amrabat at all. Had a decent world cup but every time I've seen him for Fiorentina which admittedly is a handful he's been meh.
Possibly for the home grown quota? If we're looking at Phillips then what the actual fuck
… which is our owners’ hallmark! They still believe in him, read something about him being available on loan.
Seems Caicedo has told us he's off to Chelsea. Both Reedy and Pearce with the same list of players to replace Fabs so they have obviously been briefed by the club.
None of the players come close to peak Fabinho which is what we need.
I hope we are actually looking around for some one better and not someone cheap.
I assume we are not interested in Caicedo because of his price tag.
Amrabat is 27, and has spent his entire career playing in lesser leagues and for mid-table teams like Utrecht, Verona and Fiorentina. The only thing going for him is that he had a good World Cup. He's like a better version of Salif Diao.Get Amrabat, clearly the best deal out there for us right now. He's Dutch-Moroccan, he'll fit right in with VD and Gakpo.
It's not an inspiring list. Amrabat and Phillips shouldn't even be in contention. Both Reedy and Pearce with the same list of players to replace Fabs so they have obviously been briefed by the club.

True, but we need someone who can slot right in now. I really like Amrabat, gives me Mascherano vibes.Amrabat is 27, and has spent his entire career playing in lesser leagues and for mid-table teams like Utrecht, Verona and Fiorentina. We do have to get some English first teamers in our squad. I assume his wages are way too high for us anyway so he’s a non starter (pun intended)
Tbf, Reddy and Pearce don't get any scoops any more. Unless it's a very public pursuit, most of the journos aren't really clued in.Both Reedy and Pearce with the same list of players to replace Fabs so they have obviously been briefed by the club.

Lavia is an excellent talent, but simply too young to replace Fabinho.
Gravenberch is the best player of that lot, but I'm not convinced he's a no. 6. Certainly not in a single pivot, but maybe he could play in a double pivot. I wouldn't hate it, but practically the only players I want to replace Fabinho are Tchouameni, Caicedo or Florentino Luis. I don't think there's anyone else presently around who I'd be comfortable with if we are serious about winning trophies soon.
