Another masterclass from Mignolet, never put a foot wrong. How many clean sheets is that?
He took one cross very well. But apart from that he was fortunate not to freeze to death

Ted Baker isn't actually a person though. So he's best mates with a shop?
The commentator definitely said he was friends with Ted BakerI must have misheard it, or made it up. It mentioned something early in the commentary.
Oh no, it's not you. They deffo said he was best mates with Ted Baker.I must have misheard it, or made it up. It mentioned something early in the commentary.
Yes but he's a SCM feature so you'll have to get used to it.Is moron actually a real moron? I can't work out of its supposed to be funny
The commentary on my stream ruined it for me.That's a fucking lovely finish by Ojo. Improves on each viewing.
Yep for all of Owen's foibles he's pretty much right about Benteke. I know there's a lot of hate for Owen and his punditry. I'm not really one of them. I know I'm pissing against the wind but he seem to speak some sense. I was in full agreement with him about Benteke. His movement off the ball is (I think) awful.... Then again what the fuck do I know. I think Owen might know a bit more about being a quality striker than me.Happy for Joe Allen. Two goals in as many games for him. Gwan Joe.
We need to get Teix to sign a contract. I'd give him a go in the first team as well. He should definitely be getting some minutes at least.
The miss at the end from Benteke was infuriating. I could understand why Michael Owen was cracking up. Owen would have taken one touch to bring it forward. One to open out his body and then slot it home. Benteke ruined his chance with a horrible second touch. He actually narrowed the angle on himself and forced it onto his left. Wtf.

Yep, terrible moment for him. He narrowed the angle which meant he had to round the keeper. He actually got it around the keeper but his next touch after that spoiled the opportunity again.Head down looking at the ball desperate to make sure his touch isn't shit. He doesn't even look at the goal. And yet his touch is still horrible.
It's not even schoolboy level.
His confidence is shot. It was almost like he didn't want the chance.
Owen would always try sniff out that yard of space in hope of getting a goal. He would anticipate where the ball might be and place himself in the best position possible to score. He's probably a bit bemused that Benteke isn't instinctively hunting in those areas.Yep for all of Owen's foibles he's pretty much right about Benteke. When we were managed by the HodgeNew 5-year deal keeper Simon Mignolet in goal, Jose Enrique as your captain, and 32 million pound man Christian Benteke falling over his own feet up front.
Find me a more fucking depressing time to be a Liverpool supporter I dare you.
His runs into spaces always stood out for me. I hate to bring Suarez into the equation but in terms of movement they were similar I always thought. Suarez would chase down EVERY lost cause. Owen wouldn't but In terms of a natural striker and sniff of a goal they were (in Owen's case in his prime) they were very similar.Owen would always try sniff out that yard of space in hope of getting a goal. I think i just swooned. Someone say Lithmanen?I really liked Teixeira. He reminds me of Litmanen (a bit anyway).

He certainty did my friend...🙁On a side note, Suarez found space because he NEVER stopped moving. He'd find space in a phone box.
I thought the youngsters did very well although they shared the first-teamers' problem of playing well but not being able to find the net. Texeira looks ready for regular first-team action, and Stewart was very tidy in midfield. Ojo was impressive when he came on, and the skill with which he took his goal was something that is currently eluding Benteke. It gladdened my heart when Flanno came on. I think he could make an impact on the second half of our season. So how were the youngsters? Any bright starts for the immediate future? Not like in 4 years.
Enrique as skipper was obviously a parting gift - unlikely to see him in a red shirt again
