A few good points -

Milner was excellent, Gini was good, too, Karius will feel good about himself, Clyne looked pretty good and fresh, and VVD was steady, too.

Disappointing that neither Solanke nor Ings managed a goal. I still think just one goal will really spark Ings into form. Solanke looks like he needs to work on his technique a bit more. Ings played a couple of clever passes, Solanke just looked slow to react when the few chances came.
Solanke had a chance to play in Chamberlain for a free shot and that was extremely frustrating.

Fuck me what a boring game if ever there was one. Was not just the front players ... but certain decisions in first half and 2nd half by midfield passing to wrong players when better options on offer. Never mind...Gini had good game.

In thr first half. The second half was just pin ball.

I never want to see that useless cunt Solanke ever again.
Wow bit harsh, has he even turned 20 yet? Needs a loan to a championship team so he can get valuable first team experience. But only loan him to a team that will likely play him aka championship team as I don't think any premier league team would make him first choice even one struggling for relagation.

He's not good enough now. Doubt he ever will be. Shouldn't be starting two Merseyside derbies.

Solanke's first touch was gash.

Milner was boss, klavan was shite, karius good, vvd commanding, clyne solid, tyrion Lannister still hasnt paid his debt to the club hendo ran about alot and played some great 5 yard slide Rule passes to lovren, gini was sound, mane tried and firmino literally did not care for twenty minutes.

Were lucky we played against a shite team really

Ings the new invisible man.
Is Ings good enough long term? He is a pale version of Firmino. I know he hasn't had much premier league experience since his injuries but I would still say sell him based on perfomances that I've witnessed. Sell him with a buy back clause just in case.

Karius with 13 clean sheets in 22 games.
He’s been very good these last few months.

Was surprised to see adverts on this forum ..is this now the norm? Been spending less time on here...so might have missed something

That save by Karius was amazing! Some goalkeepers might have chanced that the ball would go wide, but Karius instinctively anticipated the danger of the curl of the shot and dived with full commitment and even then it was close. The young man is getting better. In an ideal world we would still go out and buy good competition goalkeeper for him but I think we can place GK further down the priority list.

His first touch is not close to what it was. If he gets that back, he could be useful.

Goes to show how much Klopp has to beef up the squad this summer.

A lot of the “squad” is out on loan and the number of current injuries is an outlier.

Kent, Wilson, Ojo, Grujic all coming back will fill out the squad. Two biggest needs will be CF who can slot in to 1st 11 when needed (eg Werner) and another CM to replace Can and cover Hendo’s inevitable injuries and Milner’s aging.

Solanke and Ings both need premiership loans.

Got a point, denied the Bitters bragging rights, no injuries, rested a few, and I'm done the vacuuming since I binned off the second half. This is a result all around.

100%
A win would have been nice but no.1 priority was no injuries, no. 2 no cards and no.3 giving Salah, Firm Robbo and TAA a rest. Accomplished all this without losing so I'm happy.

Didnt see the game but Gini played a good game as the nr 6 I've read.
94 % pass completion and won 75 % of the challenges he was involved in.

We at least then know he can do a job there on Tuesday when Hendo is out suspended.

Honestly, for a defensive player, that's not great reading, especially when Everton showed zero ambition centrally.

Henderson was deeper than him a majority of the time, so I don't get this nr 6 chatter either

That could have been a Glock Christina Aguilera moment with the suspicious adverts.

Just read loads online that he was good. Seeing as Hendo is out and Can is out. I think this was at least encouraging.
