And if he is not we have to consider Moreno for the Roma game? No way. We will get a Draw against Stoke anyway. No way I want to risk to much now.

But we defoe need fresh legs on wednesday. And even if we look at 8 days between the games we are in an extremely tough period With Limited number of legs to share the burden.
But say we draw with stoke and then lose at stamford bridge? All of a sudden we then have to win our last game. No need for that added pressure. Beat Stoke and even if we lose at chelsea we will only need a draw against Brighton. We have enough rest time between games. Finish stoke early and then take off salah and firm after 70 mins.

We are within one decent performance of the CL Final, our first for a decade, I wouldn't be taking any chances whatsoever with our top players and it's not as if Clyne, Klavan, Woodburn etc. aren't good enough for Stoke.
I do hope the fans give the players one hell of a reception that Klopp has asked for.

Isolated 4 days rest is enough. But Stoke and Roma will be 8th and 9th game in a short Space of time where plenty of injuries has led to the same guys have played almost every one of these games. We saw last January what draining the guys do to Our team. Youngsters that are ready to fight for a Place in Next season first team Squad should step up now.

The back line has too many liabilities. VVD has had half the season off, so should play. Moreno should only be used sparingly and then only as a sub. Gomez still panics when under pressure.

We've only won one game after a Champions league game this season when the front 3 havent started together. At home to Palace, were we didnt score the winner until all 3 were on the pitch.

This is football. Each game live it's own life. We can't plan the subs 3 days before the match. Wijnaldum helped us turn the Roma game but we didn't plan that.
We have zero alternatives in goal. Few in defence. Zero at midfield. And Zero up front at the moment. So who to risk.
In goal Mignolet can have his farewell game.Defence we have Clyne, Gomez, Klavan and Moreno to step in and do a job. Midfield I don' have a clue except Woodburn can be ready. And up front Solanke and Ings will get a game (they are still no alternative for CL). It is better to have youngsters and reserves out there fighting for their future than the eleven We need in Roma out there trying to stay healthy.

PL exists, and so do CL. At the moment we have far superior upper hand in PL and far superior opposition in CL. Easy question. Where do you want to see Danny Ings start the game. Vs Stoke or Roma?
