So what's your take on it, unwelcome distraction or something to look forward to?
There's arguements for and against but on the whole it's an unwelcome distraction imo.
It seems to go on forever, and the shitty Thursday-Sunday thingy puts a right downer on it, much prefer us playing on a Saturday unless it's the Derby or United or another major fixture.
Fair enough, we're in no position to be snobby about any competition we're in but the whole thing just isn't very appealing.
It might prove to be a positive thing for some of our fringe players/youngsters, give them game time but overall it has more cons than pros.
