My fucking word I wanted to jump through the screen and knock sterling out then.
Sterling is better out wide than Vardy. It's not really that hard to understand.
Playing players in their best positions is always a good idea, rather than shoehorning them in all over the pitch just to get your 'best' players on.
It's the presence of Rooney and the formation Hodgson has decided on that has relegated Vardy to the bench, nothing to do with Sterling.

Your point didn't stand, it got ripped apart. Sterling is a very good wide player. Who would you have played out wide instead of him? Vardy? Townsend?
of course you play Vardy, the man was named player of the season.....
even when Vardy has played wide for England he's looked very good, he has pace... unlike raheem he can finish, he tracks back just as well.
