I care less and less about England footy but this game is different.

Be interesting to see Wilshere against Ramsey.

Wonder if Andy will get a game

Hopefully this will prove that Lampard is finished, my team would be...

Magic---------------Cunt---Dawson------------Cole

Lennon--------Wilshere----Parker-------------Downing

-------------------Andy C-----Rooney---------------------

The front two still has loads of questions over it, because both play more as a second striker, it'd be ok if Carroll was there to lay it off to a load of goalscoring midfielders, but none of them are really big goalscorers.

Still a nice line-up though, but as always, hardly a shed load of top talent outwide.

could put Young out wide instead of Downing I suppose

I read that Lampard may quit international football if he's dropped.

Interesting given that Stevie's been dicked around for years by England in favour of Lampard, yet carries on.

True, but what's even more interesting to me is that this looks like shorthand for "I may play for the same club as John Braveheart Terry but I actually can't stand the chavvy mong's guts".

I've a feeling Wales will get something out of this game - maybe a 1-1 draw.

The best CB in The Championship is playing for Wales, Ashley Williams (Swansea), why nobody in the EPL has taken a chance on him yet is beyond me - he'd be ideal for Arsenal.

You've been touting him around here like an east European hooker.
Is he really that good?
We'll see how he does tomorrow.

Cause if you're wrong...

In fairness I'm interested to see for myself how he handles top forwards like Carroll & Rooney because obviously I've only seen him against Championship forwards but I reckon he'll do well.

If England play with Carroll & Rooney then James Collins will no doubt mark Carroll as they are both very strong in the air and Williams will take Rooney.

Eeerrrrrm....yeah.

Lampard loves playing for England, could expect to be vice-captain as long as Rio's out and would have no reason to jack it in just because of not playing in one game, plus there were reports that he was one of the players most naffed off with Terry's antics in S.Africa despite the Chelsea connection. It's a personal opinion obv.but, if the report in question is accurate, I suspect this has at least as much to do with Terry being made skipper again as with anything else.

Fuck England

Yeah fucking Yeah

I wouldn't blink before putting Liverpool ahead of England, but I follow them fairly passionately yeah.

Though that's increasingly less with every wasted friendly & shite gutless manager.

I half support them in big tournaments, but I love holland and the argies more

I have no idea why

no idea why, i know they're dirty cheats (boss casual racism by me there) but they tend to play lovely flowing football and have some of the most technical players to have graced the planet. They all give 110% every match. I admire the passion. something england has struggled with for a good long while

*deploys the S.Y.S.*

If anyone cares:

The full England line-up is: Hart, Johnson, Cole, Parker, Dawson, Terry, Lampard, Wilshere, Bent, Rooney, Young.

Subs: Green, Jagielka, Lescott, Milner, Downing, Defoe, Carroll.
