Welbeck gives England some balance in attack. He's quick, big, strong and works his socks off.
Lallana is a creative player but lacks the engine Welbeck has.

Lallana is a creative force - England already has two defensive mids in Henderson and Gerrard, Lallana's responsibilities are different. I get you don't want us to sign him though, but if I remember correctly, the lad covers more groudn than most players (i.e. he tracks back non-stop).

Cant tell whether you are taking piss with half the stuff you say anymore, Lallana is much more important to this team, hes the best player at keeping hold of the ball in tight spaces under pressure (hes very important for that reason alone) creating something and not coughing up posession cheaply like Welbeck does.
