He says he's not superstitious so he doesn't touch the sign. I agree with Themn. Someone should tell him to just do it. It doesn't need to be to do with superstition anyway- its respect, its part of the culture at the club. Touch the sign Stewart!
He Doc! Long time no see. If he wont touch the sign he is a cockass. It's very simple...

long time no speak 🙂

I don't mind downing as much as some people do but I do think he needs to sit it out for a while and regain his confidence.
Absolutely. Still on TLW?

I think we have other and bigger issues than Downing. Obviously he had a less than perfect return so far but with a 35mill£ pound player on the field, who makes the Veron scum purchase look like a stroke of genius, I find a little hard to cut too deep at present time. As you say - a few goals and his confidence back and he could be right on track. With his speed there is always potential. That's more than I can say about Carroll.

Not on TLW so much these days but it is fun to see bren hasn't changed one iota.
heh heh you'll laugh but the sites I'm most on these days is CBM (comic book movie) and SHH (superhero hype). when it gets closer to the release of amazing spider-man and the dark knight rises I'm going to be AWOL 🙂

totally agree with your downing points.
I used to collect Marvel. I had all the Spiderman comic books but I lost them 20 years ago. Are you on these sites to buy comics?

I agree about you Downing Points as well btw. 😉

He *needs* to TOUCH THE MUTHA FUCKIN' SIGN !

Hey! Did you have Prince as an Avatar? 🙂

Has he refused to touch the sign?

nope, those sites (CBM/SHH) are the most up to date with regards comic book movie news, so you get the latest on the likes of amazing spider-man, avenger and dark knight rises and the forums are basically people chatting about those movies.

Hi CAD where you been? Thought you were an émigré to some inferior LFC forum or something?

Yeah, its actually quite arsey not to touch the sign. Souness touched the sign. KK touched the sign. Barnes touched the sign. Hyppia touched the sign. Fucking *everyone* touched the sign. If it was good enough for them, by fuck its good enough for you, you fucking wee piss-ant. Now touch the fucking sign ye smartarse cunt!!!

On the plus side he doesn't divide opinion

Hahahaha

There isn't going to be any salvation on this deal. At best we get back half our fee and probably end up subsidising his wages.

We're stuck with him now, I think I might start calling him herpes. We can't get rid of him and to every so often he pops up to show how irritating he can be.

Dare I suggest that Landon "Landycakes" Donovan has done more in 6 weeks than our 20 million pound English winger? For a worse team? Against top table sides?

Off topic, maybe, but he'd be worth going after -- maybe a straight swap with LA Galaxy (by which I mean Stewart plus free shipping).

Wonder if Villa would take him back? Don't give a shit who hes playing for next season as long as it's not us.

To go with his shitty performances, when he's subbed he seems to have the look of a player who's been really harshly treated when in fact he should never have been on the pitch to start with. Complete bottler.

White Mark Walters

Actually fuck that, I've just remembered exactly who he reminds me of.

Mark Kennedy.

Next season? I hope he never plays for us ever, starting yesterday. He should be nowhere near the squad, and certainly nowhere near the squad challenging for the 2 cups.

Everyone knows my opinion on him, but he's a better player than the one that showed up yesterday. He looks utterly bereft of confidence and it's showing in his entire game.

He'll never be good enough, but he's better than that showing.

Yup.

When does no confidence start becoming more than a single player issue? how, after 6 months of average/shit performances, had he morty managed to turn in one good performance?

Isn't it a managers job to get players playing for the shirt?

Aye, the players' bar, probably.

Kennedy v Leeds. It was a shot from near the halfway line.

Downing v Sunderland, and then it wasn't for a few months that he did any hitting in a bar.
