Paul Konchesky.

Anyone got anything good to say about him?

New left back after we get a striker and a midfielder?

he seems to be improving?

ish

Yeah he was ok. But he is not long term. No way.

Considering Albrighton and Agbonlahor were unfit, he did get an easy run out.

He needs to learn to use his right foot at times. Ge gets himself into all kinds of predicaments due to him trying to get the ball onto his left foot all the time

The same as John Arne Riise then!

Everybody still speaks well of him. 🙂

he seems a bit nervous still and hasn't settled, the pressures of being at a big club 😀

my hope is he becomes one of those fullbacks you don't really notice - solid, no mistakes

He's fitter than Aurelio and Dossena and better than Insua.

He's 110% committed and wants to improve.

I have a soft spot for him and really want him to do well.

*Like*...

He has the worst first touch of any footballer in our squad, and that's saying something.

Sorry Paddy, I don't have much it seems.

I'd really really like him to do well especially after he gave such a likeable image of himself in that interview. Unfortunately he is shit and will never be good enough. The only reason he isn't getting more abuse is because most of us probably anticipated this so there were no expectations at all. I don't really think he is getting better either. He didn't have much to deal with against Villa but against Spurs he pretty much cost us the game.

Baby steps Sunny, he needs to learn to use his left foot first.

A better game, but he's still shit. I still can't believe he's a liverpool player.
[/quote]

That's been said a lot over the years, though.

It's unlikely that he's going to develop the use of his right foot at this stage of his career.

My hopes exactly. I'm not holding my breathe though..

Once or twice a season, Konchesky scores a "goal of the month" with a piledriver.

I'm looking forward to his first for us! ;D

Liverpool f.c. have been lacking a proper leftback, left winger and right winger for a couple of years or more.Having to watch the likes of insua, dossena, aurelio and now koncheski has been depressing.
