Given that Arsenal stole him from Barca in the first place, I don't think they complain too much if they don't get top whack for him. Still, if they're willing to pay 60 odd million for Ibra and 25M for a centre-back that can't get a game to save his life, I would say Arsenal have got a good chance of getting a nice fee.

Just a few months ago, he put out some bogus press release stating how happy he was and how he wanted to stay at Arse for the rest of his career....and now this.

At this rate, there won't be very many 'stars' left in the Premier League.
Also, La Liga is kinda fucked as the top two are building fantasy squads and the gap between them and the rest was all too obvious this year.

So Villa is the replacement for Henry and Fabregas is just something that was going to happen at some point.

The Spanish international is due in Barcelona on Thursday evening and will have a medical on Friday morning.

Do you think then they would be trying to get him for £30 million? Not a chance. We should be naming our price (£50 million) and if they dont match it they dont get him. 1. one reason was that Eto'o was always opinionated and he was one of the reasons there was a rift between rijkaard and ronaldinho and himself and the president
2. eto'o has won a fair bit with Barca and laporta didn't want a situtation where a striker lacked hunger to win because eto'o has won and he might not be motivated to score goals
3. madrid spent over 100m, and barca fans voiced concerns about how we didnt buy anyone big name players so laporta went after ibra
